ACTIVITY VENTURE FINANCE COMPANY

Activity Venture Finance Company (AVFC) is a $10M Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) with $10M in funding from Ghana Commercial Bank, Venture Capital Trust Fund and Agricultural Development Bank.

The $10M SPV was set up as a fund to provide equity and quasi-equity financing to SME’s across the country and across sectors.
As Fund Managers, BSA is responsible for identifying, sourcing and investing in these SMEs and monitoring the investment portfolio according to a comprehensive investment strategy.
To date, BSA has invested $2.8M of the Fund across various sectors and regions in
eighteen companies.


CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY MUTUAL FUND

In October 2008, BSA was appointed Fund Managers for a Mutual Fund Investment Scheme sponsored by the Ghana Christian Council which is aimed at bringing financial independence to Christians and the general public.
BSA has designed an investment, marketing and roll-out strategy to maximise Fund subscription and provide superior returns to Mutual Fund Unit holders.

Advisor to Volta Aluminum Company (VALCO) on their $1BN plus downstream JV expansion with ALCOA into bauxite mining and processing and on their power project.

Advisor to Jonah Capital on their $30M bid for a major development and construction company in Ghana.


 

  

PRIMROSE PROPERTIES

BSA is the development and financial consultant for Primrose Properties GhanaLimited which is currently developing a $12M luxury apartments in Airport Residential Area.BSA secured the land, structured payment terms, assembledconsultants, secured contractors in consultation with experts, prepared business plan to secure debt funding and initiating sales and marketing strategy for the 50 apartments in Airport, the Primrose Place.


 

DREAM REALTY – PROPOSED OCTAGON OFFICE AND MALL COMPLEX
BSA is the financial consultant to Dream Realty for the proposed 20 storey offices, shopping mall, food court and car park estimated at $15.7M. BSA has prepared the business plan and will assist Dream Realty secure funding for the project.
